Caught You!

Little Hadley is always getting herself into something.  If I hear silence I normally know that she's doing something that she isn't suppose to be doing.  I was cleaning up in the kitchen and noticed that I didn't hear Hadley making any noise.  I asked Riley where Hadley was and she told me that Hadley was in the bathroom.  I walked in and found my innocent little angel with her baby on the potty.  I ran and grabbed the camera because she looked so sweet trying to potty train her baby.  Then I realized that Hadley had also unrolled the entire roll of toilet paper into the toilet.  Doesn't she look proud?

My Big Girl

I can hardly believe that in two months my first born will be 3!  Where has the time gone.  I swear she wakes up taller everyday.  She is growing like a weed these days and her appetite definitely goes along with that story.  We just upgraded her out of her toddler bed into a full size bed.  She was more than thrilled with the change.  Riley even picked out her bedding set which was none other than Dora the Explorer.  I didn't want a themed bedroom for her, but she desperately wanted a Dora bedding set and who was I to refuse her request?  Plus Trey reminded me that when Riley outgrows her Dora phase that she will have two younger sisters who will probably still be loving Dora.  I need to take Riley shopping for some new clothes because she's getting so tall that her shirts and shorts and getting too short!  Here are a couple of shots that I took of Riley this week.  Where has my little baby gone?  She looks so big to me!

Zoo

The girls were stoked to go to the zoo today.  Before we headed there, we dropped Mr. Kevin off at the Pearl City Golf course so he could play.  He'd been itching to get on a golf course.  So while he did his thing, my mom and I set off for the zoo with my little monkeys.  Hadley is completely obsessed with animals these days.  Not just one animal, she loves them all.  Riley has always enjoyed going to the zoo.  Now that she's older she loves to ask questions and learn about the animals.  She got to learn a little too much when we were checking out the chimpanzees.  There was definitely a little more action than a child's eyes needed to be seeing.  Riley asked what they were doing.  I simply replied, "playing.  Let's move on to the next exhibit."   Hadley didn't want to walk, so Kiki gave her a piggy back ride! Big Girl Undies

I've decided to just have Riley wear big girl undies instead of the pull up during the day.  I was finding that Riley wouldn't tell me when she had to pee and would just go in the pull up and it didn't bother her.  But once I put the big girl undies on her it was a different story.  She's been doing really well, although it's still only been about 4 days.  The first day she only had one accident.  The second day was full of accidents, but only because we didn't get to the potty in time.  The third day was successful until she decided to poop in her undies while I was getting dinner ready.  Had I been watching her I'm sure she wouldn't have done that.  And day four was successful, until again, she pooped in her undies.  I was upstairs feeding Hadley and told Trey to watch her because she hadn't gone #2 yet.  The next thing I know Riley comes into Hadley's room waddling with her legs apart.  She was crying because she had poo in her p...
